Ocean FM
A live-streaming news and media hub for an Irish regional radio station, with a persistent live player across two broadcast regions.
Problem
A regional broadcaster needed a fast, SEO-strong news site that kept the live radio stream playing continuously while readers browsed news, sport, and community content — across two separate broadcast regions (Sligo/Leitrim and Donegal) with their own schedules.
Solution
Built as part of Square1's PublisherPlus team on Laravel, Alpine.js, and Tailwind with Blade templates: a persistent bottom audio player that survives page navigation, a full news CMS (news, sport, obituaries, shows), and the SEO/performance bar shared across PublisherPlus — a minimum Lighthouse SEO score of 95, JSON-LD structured data, and localization.
